Our very own Ms. Rachel Driver, manager of LUSH, was live online this afternoon chatting about WhiskeyFest, and the LUSH Week of Whiskey. Check it out…

But, the lineup of events is also posted below, so you can be in the know about all the FREE Lush tastings. It’s all whiskey all week…and whiskey barrel aged beer, and cocktails, and whiskey barrel aged rum…can you tell we are EXCITED?!

Tuesday, March 31st, 6-9pm: Yeehaw! Mr. Julian Van Winkle is headed back for more. LUSH on Roscoe hosts an extensive tasting of Old Pappy Van Winkle Bourbons of various age statements, signed bottles, and all sorts of shenanigans. Join us with the Legends of Bourbon at LUSH, Halsted will be sampling Van Winkle bourbons too, and a wild after-party at the Twisted Spoke (501 N. Ogden) from 8pm-close. Cameo appearance by Mr. Beam himself…well, you know, Jimmy! And, the brewer of FOUNDERS beer and a keg of his Kentucky Breakfast Stout (one of two to make it to Chicago). Barrel aged beer from Goose Island, with an appearance, perhaps, by Greg Hall…Brian Ellison of Death’s Door Spirits…Adam Seger is creating cocktails and general mayhem behind the bar…and a full 300 bourbon whiskeys available for sale.

Wednesday, April 1st, 5-9pm: Whiskey Fest! Downtown Chicago. Sadly, you must have a ticket to gain admittance. Hopefully, we’ll see you there!

Thursday, April 2nd, 6-8pm: Our in-house mixologist, Ms. Jane, has developed a kickass menu of whiskey cocktails in celebration of Whiskey Week. Join us for a real boot knockin‘ lineup of traditional cocktails with the signature LUSH twist. Cocktails are a-shakin’ at both LUSH locations! FREE.

Cheers, LUSH
